Kim Kardashian was booed on a night where Tom Brady was supposed to be the one in the hot seat.
NFL superstar Tom Brady was ready to be roasted in the classic comedic discipline where participants do not hold back in disparaging the evening’s main character.
Kim Kardashian was prepared to launch a tirade against Brady but was met with a barrage of boos after being introduced by Kevin Hart.
However, Kardashian shook off the rocky start and managed to joke about how her family had defended enough football players over time – referencing her father, who defended O.J. Simpson in his murder trial.
She also quashed the dating rumors between her and Brady. The reason she wouldn’t date the NFL icon was that he reminded her too much of her stepfather, who has transitioned and now goes by Caitlin Jenner.
“I know there were some rumors about Tom and me dating, and I would never say whether it’s true or not, I would just release the tape,” she said, referring to the sex tape that surfaced at the beginning of her career as a TV star.
Tom Brady also fired back at Kim Kardashian.
“I know Kim was afraid to be here tonight… not because of this, but because her kids are at home with their dad,” he said, referring to Kanye West.
