“Would You Like to Come Home With Me?”: TV Reporter Leaves Jude Bellingham Speechless

Did Jude Bellingham hear that correctly? Did the reporter really ask him to come home with her?

The Real Madrid star was taken aback. After the Champions League match against RB Leipzig (1-1), he was asked an unusual question. The reporter from Prime Video asked: “Would you like to come home with me?”

Bellingham took a moment to process this. Then he looked at the camera and laughed.

Back in November, reporter Alessia Tarquinio (48) had interviewed the midfielder. That was during Real Madrid’s Champions League group stage game against Napoli (4-2).

At that time, the journalist asked the soccer player to give her son some advice. Bellingham responded: “Be nice to your mother! Mothers are important.”

Now, at their reunion in Madrid, Tarquinio playfully said in the interview: “I owe you one, my son has been behaving much better. And I have another favor to ask: Could you tell him to do his Spanish homework?”

Bellingham took the bait and said to the camera: “Gabriel, do your homework. Otherwise, you’ll end up like me, barely speaking Spanish.”

Then came the reporter’s question (in Spanish) according to Sportbild, which has now gone viral. Bellingham’s reaction shows that he does speak some Spanish. Tarquinio asked her unusual question in the mixed zone, adding: “You would be the perfect son.”

The journalist is greatly disturbed by how much attention the interview clip has received. Tarquinio explained: “I get angry when I see my words taken out of context.”

She continued: “Does anyone really think I would address a player like that in a live interview? I’m 48 years old, I could be his mother. The question was definitely not meant in a sexual way.”
