Manchester United was leading 3-0 in Sunday’s FA Cup semi final. However, the lead did not last the entire game.
The Red Devils embarrassingly lost their grip on the match, allowing Coventry to equalize at 3-3.
During the match, United legend Roy Keane scolded United’s goalkeeper, André Onana.
“I can’t believe what I’m seeing. You’re up 3-0 and then you start slowing down the pace. You’re looking for leadership, and then you see André Onana not taking things seriously,” Roy Keane commented during his analysis on ITV, according to Metro.
“As soon as they score, it gives Coventry confidence and momentum. If Manchester United can’t progress in this game… I don’t know what to say. Big credit to Coventry. United has been shocking.”
Amad Diallo also did not escape criticism from Keane. He had a great opportunity in extra time, which he failed to convert.
“It’s quite simple. You have Bruno making an excellent run. He has that opportunity, and he just needs to pass it to him,” he said.
“But again, it’s indecisive. It’s not good enough. He ran out of ideas.”
The defeat has resulted in new rumors that Erik ten Hag could be fired in the next few weeks.
