With an opponent so entrenched in their area and leaving no space, Guardiola sees Musiala as a key piece thanks to his high technical level, agility, and creativity. It seems that the German has moved ahead of other City targets like Lucas Paquetá, Olise, or Eze.
There have been many rumors about Musiala lately, as he is on the radar of several of the biggest clubs in the world. This includes not only City and Real Madrid, but also other English clubs and Barcelona.
However, acquiring him will not be cheap, as according to Transfermarkt, his market value is €110 million. Potentially, Bayern Munich will try to raise the price further, as he is under contract with the club until the summer of 2026.
