Manchester United has now canceled the team dinner, according to The Athletic.
Arsenal and Martin Ødegaard are back on top of the Premier League after a 1-0 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.
“Arsenal is never going to have an easier game than that, to be honest. It was too easy, and they didn’t even play well,” said former Arsenal player Paul Merson on Sky Sports, according to Norwegian TV 2.
“Arsenal were lucky to play against such a poor Manchester United team today,” said former Manchester United captain Roy Keane on Sky Sports.
Leandro Trossard scored the only goal of the match twenty minutes into the game.
“This is one of the worst Manchester United teams of all time,” said former Blackburn and Derby player Robbie Savage on BBC.
“The United team out there was so bad,” said Roy Keane.
On Sunday evening, The Athletic reported that Erik ten Hag is fighting for his future as Manchester United manager.
The outlet reports that the club has canceled the planned team dinner with an awards ceremony on Monday to focus fully on the FA Cup final the following Saturday.
Manchester United star Casemiro is criticized again, this time for playing Trossard onside when he scored the 1-0.
“Casemiro needs to sprint out. I don’t know what he’s doing,” said former Manchester United captain Roy Keane on Sky Sports.
“It was a small detail. There was one player who made a mistake, and it opened up,” said Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag to BBC.
Martin Ødegaard was substituted in stoppage time for his Arsenal, which is one point ahead of Manchester City. However, the Sky Blues have one game in hand.
With two games left, Manchester United is three points behind Chelsea in the spot ahead. Seventh place would qualify them for the Conference League next season.
