The World Cup winner received a four-year doping suspension in February. Paul Pogba is now slated to appear in a French film scheduled for release in 2025.

Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is set to feature in a French film scheduled for release in April 2025.

The French World Cup champion is under a four-year football suspension issued in February following a positive drug test after Juventus’ season opener against Udinese.

Pogba has stated he ‘never knowingly or deliberately’ breached anti-doping regulations following his positive test for DHEA, and he intends to challenge the ruling.

Meanwhile, the 31-year-old has been keeping busy, as reported by French media outlet Le Parisien, which noted he was on set in Paris this past Thursday afternoon. He is cast as a youth football coach in the movie ‘4 Zeros,’ a follow-up to the 2002 hit French film ‘3 Zeroes.’

According to the report, the French international ‘appeared relaxed, smiling, available and very comfortable in front of the camera’. The coverage also highlighted that he ‘amazed everyone with his naturalness and simplicity,’ and ‘enjoyed the experience.’

His film scenes, set for release in April 2025, were shot at the Parc Stadium in Rueil-Malmaison on the outskirts of Paris, where he participated in two different scenes.

The storyline revolves around a young footballer from Comoros who dreams of becoming a star at PSG, while a scout searches for the next Kylian Mbappe.

Since his return to Juventus from Manchester United in 2022, Pogba has had a troubled second stint at the club.

He played only 161 minutes in his comeback season due to injuries and was on the field for just 52 minutes this season before being sidelined after the positive test for DHEA—a substance known to naturally enhance testosterone levels.

Pogba also requested a retest of his B-sample, but it too returned positive in October, prompting Juventus to consider terminating his contract.
