Lando Norris Went All Out at Nightclub With Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet After First F1 Victory

Lando Norris claimed his first Grand Prix win in Miami and afterward announced his plan to celebrate. A promise he more than kept. Max Verstappen, who finished second, and his girlfriend Kelly Piquet joined the British driver’s celebration.

Norris and Verstappen have a good relationship off the track. This was evident when the two took a private jet to Europe together after the previous race in China.

Norris took the lead on Sunday after a safety car incident, but it was Verstappen who dismissed any detractors and fully credited the McLaren driver.

Nightclub Celebration

After the race, Norris said he “wouldn’t be sleeping and was going to let loose.” He stayed true to his word and wasn’t the only one celebrating. Verstappen, along with his girlfriend Piquet, and Alpine driver Pierre Gasly were also in attendance, according to Sportnieuws.

The group celebrated at E11even Miami, a nightclub in the city where the race took place. Dutch DJ Afrojack provided the music. Piquet shared images from the club on her Instagram, and several videos of the celebrating drivers circulated online.

It seems the gentlemen stayed out late, as Norris later mentioned on Instagram that he was completely drained. However, he noted that his nocturnal adventures were “totally worth it.”

Shards from King’s Day Bring Luck

Norris likely hoped his Miami celebrations were safer than a week earlier when he was in Amsterdam for King’s Day.

The British driver was a guest on DJ Martin Garrix’s boat and was spotted with a lot of bandaging on his face, sporting a cut on his nose that was still visible over the weekend.

The exact cause of the cut remains unclear, but Norris mentioned that a piece of glass was to blame. Once again, it seemed that “shards bring luck,” as Norris finally crossed the finish line as a winner after 110 races and got to celebrate once again in Miami.
