The Irishman will return to the octagon at UFC 303 on June 29th, but the tickets for the event won’t come cheap.
UFC has already put tickets on sale for the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for the Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler fight at UFC 303, scheduled for June 29th. It promises to be a historic event with ‘The Notorious’ returning to the octagon three years later.
It is likely to be the best-selling pay-per-view in history, surpassing the Khabib vs. McGregor fight. But what is certain is that the exclusivity of the ticket prices is staggering.
To illustrate, the cheapest ticket available through the UFC website is hardly affordable. Quite the opposite. We’re talking about $1,216 plus fees, and it’s nearly sold out. Nobody wants to miss an event to remember.
Most tickets range from $1,500 to $3,000, but these are for seats located in the last ring of the Nevada city’s arena. The capacity is around 20,000 attendees, and the most exclusive seats, of course, are those right next to the octagon.
The ‘Floor C’ section is by far the most expensive: $14,500 plus fees. And it’s all sold out except for two tickets (at the time this article was written). The rest of the seats surrounding the cage are about $5,000 per ticket. These are the most VIP areas of the arena.
These prices are clearly a far cry from the $200-$300 cost of the cheapest ticket for UFC 298 last February (Volkanovski vs. Topuria) in Anaheim, California.
However, for reference, a UFC evening typically lasts a minimum of 6-7 hours with about 12-13 fights scheduled, not just the ‘main event’ that is McGregor vs. Chandler.
It will certainly be an event to remember, but not affordable for every budget.
