An Iranian MMA fighter kicked a ring girl before a match in Moscow, for which he was later banned for life.
Last Friday in Moscow, Ali Heibati, an Iranian MMA fighter, entered the octagon to compete against Arkady Osipyan in a hardcore tournament.
The match hadn’t even started yet when the athlete made a grave mistake by kicking Maria, a ring girl who was walking by to announce the start of the first round.
She was upset by the incident and confronted Heibati, who was then reprimanded by the match referee.
The match did not go well for the Iranian either, as he lost in the first round in just about 30 seconds. Even after the match was declared over, he continued to attack his opponent.
His “trials” did not end there. After the match, he was severely beaten by some angry fans, as seen in the video.
Although the lightweight fighter later apologized to the ring girl he had kicked, news came on Wednesday that Heibati has been permanently banned, thus ending his MMA career.
