In recent weeks, there has been speculation about a possible sudden departure of Harry Kane from Bayern Munich. However, the rumors of the superstar fleeing FC Bayern lacked any real substance.
After German media consistently reported that Harry Kane’s departure from Munich in the summer of 2024 is not under consideration – neither for the player nor the club – the British site TEAMtalk now writes that such rumors were simply made up.
Sources close to the striker have informed the site that Kane is greatly enjoying his current life in Munich. Moreover, the superstar is convinced that his experience at FC Bayern is making him a better player, it is reported.
FC Bayern laughs off Kane rumors
According to TEAMtalk, those around FC Bayern have merely “laughed” at rumors of the striker’s possible departure. The officials of the record champions have reportedly had no doubts that Kane would continue to wear the red jersey in the future.
What fueled the rumors of a sudden departure by Kane was primarily Munich’s unusually weak season so far. The team has already lost out on the cup and the championship.
It is also clear that Thomas Tuchel will be leaving his post. Furthermore, it is known that preferred candidate Xabi Alonso will not be moving to the Isar. Many uncertainties were not anticipated last summer in this form.
Speculation was mainly from the English tabloid press that Manchester United and FC Chelsea wanted to take advantage of the turbulent months at FC Bayern to persuade Kane to switch. Unlike Kane’s supposed transfer plans, at least this part has not yet been disproven.
