Rodrygo Responds to Kylian Mbappe’s Arrival

After Real Madrid’s victory in the Clasico, the Brazilian international spoke about his future.

The current trend in Spain is that Real Madrid will need to sacrifice a player to make room for Kylian Mbappe. The native of Bondy is set to arrive in Madrid this summer and is expected to secure an indisputable starting spot in Carlo Ancelotti’s lineup.

He will likely become the new offensive leader for the Merengues. To accommodate the French international, one of the current starters will need to be sidelined.

In the current setup in Madrid, there are only two possible candidates to leave the starting eleven: Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes. The former seems to have the advantage over his compatriot, who is therefore the favorite to leave the starting lineup and possibly even Real Madrid.

Recently, the Madrid press reported interest from several major English clubs in his services, including Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Manchester City.

He wants to stay in Madrid for the long term

The former Santos player, who has been quite decisive in recent weeks and scored in both matches against Manchester City in the Champions League quarter finals, has no intention of leaving.

“I love this club too much. I hope my future will always be written here,” he simply replied when asked about a possible departure by beIN Sports.

Rodrygo does not plan to leave and will be in Madrid next season, fighting for his spot. Carlo Ancelotti, who will have a high-quality offensive sector to manage, including the addition of Endrick, faces a pleasant dilemma.

Can Rodrygo, Vinicius, and Mbappe play together? On paper, if the Italian coach were to move Bellingham back a bit, it’s feasible.
