Five players may leave Arsenal this summer, according to the Daily Mirror. They need to make room for new signings, which is why several players could be sold.
Once again, Arsenal is in the thick of the Premier League title race, which looks to be decided on the final day. A big summer is expected, with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta being allocated a gigantic transfer budget.
However, the revolving door at The Gunners could swing both ways this summer, as they may also part ways with several players. A handful of players are reportedly not guaranteed to wear the Arsenal jersey next season, the Daily Mirror writes.
These include Eddie Nketiah, Aaron Ramsdale, Emile Smith Rowe, Reiss Nelson, and Leandro Trossard.
Nketiah is expected to attract bids from other Premier League clubs, including Crystal Palace, which has shown keen interest in the striker valued at over 35 million euros.
Ramsdale has been the second choice at Arsenal, where David Raya is the preferred option between the posts. Ramsdale has mostly seen playtime in matches against Brentford since Raya joined at the end of the transfer window.
Smith Rowe also has seen limited playtime this season, with just 454 minutes of football across all competitions. Nelson or Trossard could be on their way out if Arsenal decides to refresh their winger options.
Additionally, Arsenal wants to retain Mikel Arteta, whose contract expires in the summer of 2025. However, due to the hectic season, contract negotiations are expected to be postponed until the end of the season.
