Real Madrid’s young talent, Arda Guler, has undergone a notable physical transformation following guidance from coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Arda Guler, having moved to Real Madrid from Fenerbahce, hasn’t yet left a significant mark on the team. His playtime outside of Copa del Rey matches totals less than 45 minutes, despite being selected for the matchday squad 19 times.
Carlo Ancelotti has been cautious with integrating Guler into the team, causing the young player some frustration. Nevertheless, Guler is actively working off the pitch to enhance his chances of playing a more central role in the team.
According to Diario AS, Guler has focused on bulking up in the gym, aiming to strengthen his lower body and knees, areas of previous concern. This effort has increased his weight from 62kg to 70kg.
Following suggestions from Ancelotti and his team, Guler has committed to this physical transformation. This dedication is likely to have impressed Ancelotti, potentially leading to more game time for Guler in the remaining part of the season.
The 19-year-old Turkish talent was acquired by Real Madrid from Fenerbahce for just 20 million euros, a move that could potentially prove to be an excellent investment for the Spanish giants.
His current contract with the Madrid club extends until the summer of 2029, indicating that he is a player they have high hopes for in the future. However, so far, this has not translated into much playtime under Ancelotti.
