The ejection occurred after Green argued with referee Ray Acosta over a foul call on Warriors’ Andrew Wiggins, leading to a Paolo Banchero and-1 that evened the score at 6-6.
Green’s heated exchange with Acosta, including some explicit language as he turned away from the referee, earned him a second technical foul and an automatic ejection from the game. This season, Green had already faced a 12-game suspension for similar confrontations.
