Joe Rogan Reacts to Conor McGregor’s Shocking Statement

Ex-UFC champion Conor McGregor has attracted criticism from UFC commentator and well-known podcaster Joe Rogan following McGregor’s claim that acting poses more of a challenge than fighting.

McGregor, who has clinched titles in two UFC divisions, has been missing from MMA action for three years due to a significant leg injury he incurred during his third fight with Dustin Poirier, a notable adversary.

McGregor recently ventured into the film industry, securing a villainous role in the “Road House” action remake, starring alongside Jake Gyllenhaal.

While promoting the film, McGregor reflected on his shift to acting, describing it as a strenuous process.

At the “Road House” premiere, McGregor discussed the rigors of acting compared to fighting, remarking, “Acting is harder. Time consumption, and it’s not just action and fighting and stunts, it’s also remembering the line and you have to time things correctly, you’re engaging with another person. It’s just a difficult game, a lot more difficult than I gave it credit for.”

Joe Rogan, however, took issue with McGregor’s comments during his podcast, strongly contesting McGregor’s evaluation and advising him to rethink his opinion.

“That’s not true. Act in ‘Road House’ or fight Khabib again. Shut the f**k up. That is crazy talk,” Rogan expressed. “He broke his f***ing leg in a fight. He broke his leg. Like, that’s harder. That’s way harder than f***ing acting.”

An official statement from the UFC about McGregor’s return has yet to be released, but it is anticipated to be in the form of a match against Michael Chandler this summer.
