Kylian Mbappe has confirmed when he will announce his future plans. The Frenchman has been frequently linked with Real Madrid but has not yet confirmed anything.
The 25-year-old Kylian Mbappe has not yet made a decision regarding his future, at least not officially.
The world-class player is currently on an expiring contract with Paris Saint-Germain, set to end this summer, and that is all the public knows about his future for now. However, Mbappe assures that the public will be informed.
“People will know my future before the European Championship starts. I’m staying very calm about it. My future is no longer a big topic at the club, and nobody is talking about me anymore. I will be at the European Championship with a clear stance, ready to achieve great things,” Mbappe said in an interview with Telefoot.
Mbappe has been particularly linked with one club, Real Madrid. In 2022, a move was almost finalized, but ultimately, he decided to stay in the French capital.
This time, however, the Spanish capital club has everything arranged, it’s reported. According to Marca, the forward will move to Real Madrid this summer, where he is expected to receive a sign-on fee of a staggering 743 million kroner.
At this summer’s European Championship, Mbappe will wear the captain’s armband for France, hoping to win the same gold medal he secured at the 2018 World Cup.
