In a kickboxing clash, Shayan Heydari experienced a drastic alteration to his nose following a powerful uppercut by PTT Petchrungruang, effectively “launching” it into an entirely different realm.
Spectators were stunned by a severe injury during a match when Shayan Heydari’s nose was dramatically displaced, following a punishing blow from Thai sensation Por Tor Thor Petchrungruang.
The incident occurred during the THAI FIGHT Kard Chuek Pluak Daeng event, where Petchrungruang executed a ferocious right uppercut in the second round, realigning Heydari’s nose across his face after cornering him.
This moment prompted a commentator to remark that the strike had propelled his nose “into another dimension”.
“Oh nooooo. Line him up for a left uppercut and reset that s***,” one concerned fan responded, according to Daily Star. While a second said: “His nose will never be the same!”
“This is horrific! His nose is sitting sideways,” a third declared. And another added: “He can smell round corners now!”
Despite receiving a severe uppercut, Heydari remarkably stayed on his feet. He managed to deflect further attacks from Petchrungruang, who was beginning to unleash a barrage of hits.
It wasn’t until Heydari knelt down that medical staff entered the ring to attend to him. The bout concluded with Petchrungruang being awarded a victory through technical knockout. The event’s organizers later posted:
“Shayan Heydari has a misshapen nose and can’t continue, unfortunately losing via TKO.”
