Several Premier League clubs are showing interest in Jonathan David, whose contract with LOSC Lille expires in the summer of 2025.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, and West Ham United are all reportedly vying for the signature of Lille’s Jonathan David in the upcoming transfer window.

Interest in the 24-year-old Canadian forward has been intense and widespread, with David anticipated to make a move this summer as he enters the final year of his contract.

HITC reports that these Premier League clubs have been keeping a close eye on David, suggesting a potential move to England after the season ends.

This season, David has been in excellent form for Lille, contributing 21 goals and seven assists across all competitions.

With a record of 14 goals in Ligue 1 and a total of 79 goals plus 16 assists in 172 matches for Lille since his transfer from Gent in 2020, David has proven his mettle.

The Premier League clubs looking for new forwards might find David an attractive, cost-effective alternative to other high-profile targets.

Lille currently sits fourth in the Ligue 1 standings, closely trailing Monaco, and has advanced to the Europa Conference League quarter-finals where they’ll face Aston Villa.

David’s performance in European competitions, including three goals in the Europa Conference League this season and past appearances in the Champions League and Europa League, adds to his appeal.
