The Texans were without the Slovenian during their 119-126 loss, as Doncic had sustained a thigh injury the day before in a home game against the Golden State Warriors (109-99), according to Sport1.
The top scorer for OKC, which moved into first place in the West with this victory, was Canadian Shai Gilgeous-Alexander with 31 points.
Kyrie Irving led the Mavericks as the top scorer of the night with 36 points, while national player Maxi Kleber recorded three points and two rebounds in just over 20 minutes of play.
Dallas is eighth in the Western Conference of the US professional basketball league.
Daniel Theis and the Los Angeles Clippers solidified their position in fourth place. The Californians, featuring the German World Champion, defeated the Chicago Bulls 126-111. Against his former team, Theis scored four points and added three assists.
