Eddie Hearn has revealed what the plans are for Anthony Joshua after his impressive knockout victory over Francis Ngannou.

Eddie Hearn has shared Anthony Joshua’s upcoming plans after his convincing win against Francis Ngannou, marking Joshua’s fourth consecutive victory following successes against Jermaine Franklin, Robert Helenius, and Otto Wallin.

Joshua, now seemingly at the peak of his powers again, is eyeing a match with the victor of the Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk bout scheduled for May 18, with many boxing enthusiasts hoping for a Fury win to bring about a monumental British clash.

Hearn disclosed Joshua’s forthcoming objectives during a discussion on the Matchroom YouTube Channel, following his recent triumph in Saudi Arabia.

He said: “Most fighters will finish a fifth and get back in the gym on the Sunday or Monday, then the adrenaline calms down and we have to take into consideration that he has boxed four times in 11 months.”

“That’s four camps, 10 weeks a camp, that’s 40 weeks in less than 52, that’s not a lot of time off, but he feels great. The confidence is there. But I will sit down with Freddie Cunningham, AJ and 258 management and we will see what we’re going to do.”

“No decisions will be made before the Fury fight because I’m confident that if Fury wins, His Excellency will do whatever he can regardless of the two-fight deal to make the biggest fight in the history of the sport. Anthony Joshua versus Tyson Fury, but there’s Filip Hrgovic there for the IBF title. Really, he has lots of options.”
