Manchester United Asking Price for Marcus Rashford Revealed

Manchester United’s asking price for Marcus Rashford has been revealed, as the English star is on the radar at Paris Saint-Germain.

Paris Saint-Germain is gearing up with a proposal of £75 million for Marcus Rashford of Manchester United, amidst rumors of Arsenal’s interest in the English striker.

Seeking a replacement for Kylian Mbappe, who appears headed for Real Madrid, PSG sees Rashford as a prime candidate. Last year, they attempted to secure Rashford with a lucrative deal of £400,000 per week, but Rashford remained at United, netting 30 goals last season and securing a deal until 2028 at £350,000 per week.

Despite his stellar performance last season, Rashford has faced challenges this year, scoring only seven times in 34 appearances and encountering off-field issues.

Arsenal’s search for a versatile forward has them eyeing Rashford, capable of playing both centrally and on the left.

Following an incident where Rashford was disciplined by United’s coach, Erik ten Hag, for nightlife activities after a significant loss, and another where he missed training due to illness after a night out, PSG sees an opportunity to lure him as a successor to Mbappe with an initial £75 million bid.

While United values Rashford at £100 million, PSG’s offer could be tempting due to Financial Fair Play constraints limiting United’s market activities. As Rashford is a product of United’s academy, his transfer would be pure profit under Premier League regulations, potentially offering United greater leeway for team investments.

Despite his strong ties to United, Rashford could be open to a new beginning elsewhere, especially considering the difficulties he has encountered this season, both professionally and personally, which have made this period particularly challenging for him.
