Football icon Ronaldo Nazario expressed that it would be astonishing to witness Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe teaming up with Jude Bellingham at Real Madrid.
Since his arrival at Manchester City in the summer of 2022, the Norwegian forward has been sensational in the Premier League, setting numerous records during a season that saw City clinch a treble.
Although Haaland has quickly become a key figure at City, he has not dismissed the ongoing speculation about a move to Madrid, noting in a recent conversation, “you never know.”
Brazil’s legendary footballer Ronaldo is among those eager to see such a transfer materialize, as he shared with the Daily Mail:
“Real Madrid’s policy is to have the best players in the world. Haaland is one of the best players in the world. Everyone wants to have Haaland. He is at an unbelievable club. City are doing an amazing job, I think he is very happy there at the moment. But, we will see. I hope we can see all of those players together in the one club,” he said.
“It will remind me of the Galacticos if they all [Haaland, Mbappe and Bellingham] do end up at Real Madrid. If it happens [them all signing for Real Madrid], it’s going to be crazy. Watching Real Madrid playing with all of those players together. It will be an unbelievable team that will achieve remarkable things. But I think it’s going to be a great challenge for Carlo Ancelotti to manage all of those players. But, putting good players together is easier than putting bad players together. It won’t be too much of a problem for the coach.”
While it appears Haaland’s potential transfer could be further down the line, Kylian Mbappe seems poised to make his way to the Spanish giants sooner.
The French superstar is on the verge of concluding prolonged rumors by departing Paris Saint-Germain upon his contract’s expiry this summer, having seemingly agreed to a reduced salary to secure a transfer to Real.
PSG’s coach, Luis Enrique, appears to be gearing up for a future without Mbappe, having recently shared a veiled message to the 25-year-old that seems to confirm his impending exit.
