West Ham’s assistant coach, Kevin Nolan, predicts Harry Kane’s Premier League return.

Kevin Nolan, the assistant coach at West Ham United, envisions a return for Bayern Munich’s striker Harry Kane to the Premier League.

In an interview with talkSPORT, the 41-year-old explains why, despite a buy-back clause, he sees Manchester United, not Spurs, as the favorite for Kane’s potential new home in England.

“I can definitely see Kane returning to the Premier League. I don’t think Tottenham would have ever sold him to Manchester United, but his move to Bayern Munich now makes it easier to come back from Germany – and I believe he will move to Manchester United,” Nolan said.

“I think they (Bayern) would want to recoup the transfer fee they paid. He’s definitely worth it. He guarantees you at least 20 goals a season and he achieved that all the years he was at Tottenham. Is Manchester United as good as Tottenham, honestly? But I think he would bring a new aura to the team as soon as he puts on the jersey – regardless of the club. But I believe it’s likely going to be United.”

Kane moved to Munich last summer for a fee of 95 million euros (his contract runs until 2027). From an individual perspective, the English international is having an outstanding season.

So far, in 34 competitive matches, he has scored 36 goals and shattered numerous records.

However, his quest for his first team title is proving more difficult. In the Bundesliga, Bayern currently sit seven points behind league leaders Bayer Leverkusen (who have a game in hand).

They have also been knocked out of the DFB-Pokal. They are still in the Champions League, awaiting the draw for the quarter-final pairings.
