Drake has placed a huge bet on the boxing match between Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou.
The famous ‘Hotline Bling’ singer, Drake, has decided to back his prediction with a significant amount of money. The Canadian rapper has placed a large bet on Francis Ngannou, believing he will surprise many by defeating Anthony Joshua tonight.
The match between Joshua and Ngannou is set to take place live on DAZN PPV in Saudi Arabia, with both fighters potentially looking towards a world title bout in the future.
Ngannou, a former UFC heavyweight champion, has only one professional boxing match to his name. However, he made headlines by knocking down Tyson Fury, a world champion, in a fight that he eventually lost according to the judges’ decision.
On the other side, Joshua is working his way back up the heavyweight ladder, securing victories in all three of his fights in 2023 following consecutive losses to Oleksandr Usyk.
Drake referred to his bet as “Betting on a scary man” in a post on his Instagram, showing a screenshot of his $615,000 wager on Ngannou to win against Joshua.
Should Drake’s bet come through tonight, he stands to win nearly $2,000,000 – certainly a considerable sum!
