Paulo Dybala has shared his list of the top three teammates he’s ever played with, surprisingly including Gonzalo Higuain alongside football legends Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. This selection has left many fans bewildered.

Dybala expressed his admiration for Higuain, despite the latter’s less than stellar stint at Chelsea in 2019, ranking him among his most cherished colleagues in football, alongside Messi and Ronaldo.

In an interview with Al Arabi Al Jadeed, as reported by Calciomercato, Dybala praised Ronaldo for his championship mentality and the invaluable lessons learned from him during their time together at Juventus. He also highlighted his childhood dream of playing with Messi, emphasizing the unforgettable experience of winning the World Cup alongside him.

Higuain, who began his career at River Plate, made a significant impact at Real Madrid, contributing 121 goals in 264 appearances and securing three La Liga titles. His journey continued with successful spells at Napoli and Juventus, where he maintained his scoring prowess and helped Juventus clinch three Serie A titles and reach the Champions League final in 2017.

However, Higuain’s performance dipped during his loan period at Chelsea, where he managed only five goals in 18 appearances. Despite this, he did experience success by winning the Europa League in 2019 before moving to Inter Miami in September 2020.

Higuain, who retired from professional football at the end of the 2022 MLS season, reflected on his career and expressed his ambition to lead Miami to the playoffs in his final games.

Dybala, currently playing for Roma, also spoke about his experiences working under Jose Mourinho, describing it as a period of significant growth. He praised Mourinho’s vast experience and its impact on his development. Looking ahead, Dybala expressed optimism about working with Roma’s new coach, Daniele De Rossi, a former club icon who has transitioned into coaching, sharing his vision and inspiration with the team.
