Urgent Contact: Erling Haaland’s Agent Calls Florentino Perez Over What Happened at the Bernabeu

Last Tuesday, Erling Haaland was not at all comfortable at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Norwegian forward was unable to make an impact in the game against Real Madrid because Antonio Rüdiger perfectly covered him throughout the match, and Aurélien  Tchouaméni also kept him in check when it was his turn to mark him.

All roads lead to Rome, a sentiment akin to what’s happening with Erling Haaland and Real Madrid, as the player and the club seem destined to come to an understanding in the not-too-distant future.

However, this is currently secondary, especially because the priority is Wednesday’s match, something the Norwegian is well aware of.

The Manchester City attacker left Madrid quite disappointed because in his two appearances at the Santiago Bernabeu in recent years, he has not been able to demonstrate his full potential.

His agent Rafaela Pimenta was at the Santiago Bernabeu watching the game and did not hesitate to contact the club to thank them for the treatment received at the stadium. That’s according to Defensa Central.

Moreover, she also confessed that Haaland was frustrated because he was well-marked and couldn’t play a significant role in the match. Haaland wants to redeem himself in the return match, to help his team qualify for the Champions League semifinals and to silence all the critics who have been undervaluing him in recent weeks.

Real Madrid is aware that Haaland is a forward who can score at any moment by finding space in the box to shoot on goal.

For this reason, they will be very attentive in the return leg, where he could be more significant, because it is likely that Manchester City will attack much more than in the first match.
