Dani Alves was released on bail on March 25th after paying a one million euro bail. The former player had a party at his house 24 hours after his release from prison.

On Monday, March 25, Dani Alves paid one million euros for his freedom. The player left the Brians 2 Penitentiary Center just after 4 p.m., after spending five days trying to gather the bail money.

Having been sentenced to four years and six months in prison for rape, the Brazilian managed to secure provisional freedom after posting a one million euro bail and retreating to his luxurious home in Esplugues de Llobregat.

With his head held high and a defiant face, Dani Alves left behind an image that spread rapidly: he was leaving prison after paying for his freedom. He left without luggage, according to penitentiary sources, distributing his clothes among the other inmates with whom he played football in the yard.

He also reportedly left them a television, a fan, and a copy of the Bible. Upon arriving at his home, he received bouquets of flowers and ordered a hamburger. By the end of the day, his father and his brother Junior came to visit him.

That day, his father, Domingo Alves da Silva, was celebrating his birthday at a Barcelona restaurant. Alves didn’t go to the restaurant, but at night the party moved to the former Barcelona player’s house.

The party went on until the early hours of the morning, and friends started arriving: “At night, they came to this house, when there were almost no journalists left, and they also celebrated with Daniel Alves,” a reporter reported live on the Telecinco program Así es la vida from the house.

According to social media posts from those who attended the party, media reports indicate that the party lasted until five in the morning.
